Digital Millennium Copyright Act Policy
Welcome to the Site. We value and respect the intellectual property rights of others, just as we expect others to respect our rights. In compliance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, Title 17, United States Code, Section 512(c), a copyright owner or their authorized agent can submit a takedown notice to us through our DMCA Agent. As an internet service provider, we are protected by the “safe harbor” provisions of the DMCA against claims of infringement. To submit a valid infringement claim, the following information must be provided:
Notice of Infringement – Claim
- A signature of the copyright owner or an authorized representative;
- Identification of the copyrighted work that has been infringed;
- Details of the infringing material and its location;
- Contact information of the complaining party;
- A statement that the material was used without authorization;
- A statement confirming the accuracy of the information provided.
Under Title 17 USC §512(f), penalties can be imposed on those who misrepresent information in an infringement claim. Takedown notices should be sent through our Contact page via email for faster processing.
It is important to note that any copyright infringement claims we receive may be shared with the alleged infringer. By submitting a claim, you agree that your identity may be disclosed.
Counter Notification – Restoration of Material
If you receive a takedown notice due to a copyright claim, you can provide a counter notification to have the material restored to the site. The notification must include:
- Your signature;
- Details of the removed material and its original location;
- A statement indicating the removal was a mistake;
- Your contact information and consent to legal jurisdiction.
Submit your counter notice via our Contact page, preferably through email.
Repeat Infringer Policy
We have a strict policy against copyright infringement. We maintain a list of DMCA notices and make efforts to identify repeat infringers. Accounts of repeat offenders will be terminated.
Modifications
We reserve the right to update our DMCA policy at any time. It is recommended to check this page regularly for any changes.
